Placement Project, 2023
One of my bigger projects at TopCashback was coming up with and designing social media content. This was an ongoing project which lasted over a year of my time at the company, and the brief was to create seasonal, conversational "filler" posts for the Instagram, Twitter (X) and Facebook social channels. These posts did not have to be related to cashback, as the aim was to increase engagement and interaction across the platforms.
I worked closely with the Marketing team on a daily basis to scope out current social media trends and seasonal occasions such as half terms and Valentine's Day, to see what content would do well at that time. Quarterly feedback from the team showed an increase in engagement across all of my posts, in comparison to the usual business-as-usual content that they produced to promote the site and latest deals.
